Maintenance Engineer
Pay Details:
The starting hourly rate range for this position is $30.11 to $36.81 per hour. The actual hourly rate offered will take internal value, peer equity, job-related factors, and other organizational considerations into account.
The Maintenance Engineer is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position within the Operations Department. This position is responsible for performing maintenance duties as required and should be capable of responding to and resolving building-related problems and/or service requests. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, as well as in a team dynamic. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, including refrigeration systems. Maintenance of complex control systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Installation of electrical circuitry, disconnect switches, lighting fixtures, transformers, motor controls, PLCs and ballasts
  • Install and maintain commercial kitchen equipment
  • Air Handler maintenance to include filters, belts and all associated parts
  • Install and repair various plumbing parts and equipment
  • Inspect/log boilers, chillers and air handler activity set points and performance
  • Install pumps/motors of various sizes and capacities
  • Troubleshoot/repair icemakers, ice machines, freezers and refrigerators
Skills
  • State certified in electrical or refrigeration preferred
  • Must be skilled in electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, fabrication and mechanical troubleshooting
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in commercial/industrial facility
  • Energetic, self-motivated and eager to learn new operating procedures
  • Excellent follow-through skills
  • Flexible schedule – ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays as required
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certifications Required – If applicable list, or indicate NA.
Experience Required - 3-5 Year
