Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
· Sound knowledge on DFSMS DSS, HSM,DFSORT
· ISMF knowledge, SMS, NON-SMS, JCL, IODF
· Volume allocation, reclamation, Backup, restore activities experience
· Business continuity DR knowledge and experience
· Experience in Replication tools like CSM.
· Troubleshooting replication issues.
· Should be working closely with DB2 DBA, CICS, MQ series, security admins
· Knowledge in TAPE ( Physical Libraries and VTS Libraries, DASD) Level 2 knowledge
· Experience in CA products like CA-DISK, CA-Allocate, VAM
· Experience on troubleshooting BAU issues
· CICS SIT table and parameter knowledge (DFHSIT)
· Performance analysis & recommendations using WLM in a full parallel Sysplex multi-lpar environment
