Mainframe Administrator Jobs

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe CICS Admin to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 12 years of experience in administering CICS (Customer Information Control System) on the mainframe platform.

Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain CICS systems and related software

- Monitor CICS performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal system availability and efficiency

- Troubleshoot and resolve CICS-related issues, including debugging and problem resolution

- Plan and implement system upgrades and patch installations

- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate CICS with other systems

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including procedures, policies, and system diagrams

- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members

- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures

Requirements:

- 5 to 12 years of experience in Mainframe CICS Administration

- Strong knowledge of CICS architecture, installation, and configuration

- Experience in CICS system performance monitoring, tuning, and debugging

- Knowledge of CICS-related tools, such as CICS Explorer, CICSPlex SM, and IPCS

- Understanding of mainframe technologies, including z/OS, JCL, and ISPF

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is preferred
