Elwood Staffing has an immediate opening for an overnight Mail Inserter.

Mail Inserter/Bindery Details


  • Stacking papers and wrapping on palette for transport
  • Full Time work available
  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • Currently hiring for a full time mailroom inserter
  • Pushing newspapers through a machine that dates them
  • Whose tasks include: -Inserting loose leaf ads into the center of newspapers. -
  • Aiding in the production of the local newspaper through a variety of tasks.
  • Third Shift ( Tuesday through Friday from 05:00pm to 02:30am )
  • $ 13.00 / hour


Mail Inserter/Bindery Qualifications


  • Attendance is mandatory
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed. You will be required to complete and submit a questionnaire. We will consider your age at the time of the offense, when the offense occurred, the seriousness and the nature of the offense, as well as any rehabilitation to determine your employability.
  • Ability to bend, kneel and twist
  • Work as a team player
  • Ability to stand for entire shift
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Willing to cross train in different areas.
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
