Division Overview
Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Any other duties as assigned
  • Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
  • Perform quality control, and report to Lead/Supervisor any irregularities in production quality and on equipment needing repair, maintenance, or adjustments problems
  • Comply with all safety and health regulations
  • Troubleshoot issues to keep production running.
  • Operate machinery and equipment according to work instructions
Skills and Experience
Qualifications for Machine Operator
  • Non-Climate Controlled environment
  • Lift up to 35 pounds
  • Operate a forklift (onsite training)
  • Maintain a reliable attendance record
  • Previous machine operating experience is preferred
  • Ability to perform basic tasks on PC or tablet
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Duties and Responsibilities

Operates mold machine process in a method to produce quality parts at the productivity rate that is in accordance to customer specifications using the Hubbell Power Systems Quality Operating Principles and the most current Quality System.

Skills and Experience

  • Produce quality mold parts using various molding process systems.
  • Complete daily paperwork which includes Hr x Hr charts, counting and packaging parts.
  • Maintain safety, quality, production and 5(S) housekeeping standards.
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs and adjustments to mold machine equipment/machinery.
  • Performs 100% trim and inspection and identifies and segregates scrap.
