We are growing Uplinguo, a tech company developing applications for everyone to build up fluency in any language. Artificial intelligences are much better at learning languages than humans. We offer a methodical set of technologies to let ambitious, avid language learners learn languages the same way machines do.
Pronunciation is a very important piece of language learning - key to short- and long-term memory, key to reading fluency and audio understanding, and as a corollary, key to developing fluency by ingesting massive linguistic data - just like machines do. Also, our first tool will be feature speech processing capabilities for multilingual pronunciation assessment.
We build on a passion for language learning and a lifelong experience of learning languages from zero to fluent🤓, mixed with a scientific approach based on neuroscience research.
Our users build-up fluency, in any language. We bring the tools and train them to achieve their goals.
Uplinguo looks for machine learning / natural language processing / software development / technical leadership talents, we will love to hear about your experience and skills. We are looking for a strong profile to act as a principal engineer or CTO, ideally with know-how in applications development, as well as speech and natural language processing. Other remarkable profiles are of course of interest to us.
