Job Description

The Role

1st Shift

Trouble-shoot low voltage systems with wiring schematics, computer software, and diagnostic equipment.

Perform all duties related to schematics and Low Voltage Electrical and Electronics and other electrical

duties. Follow all standard or accepted methods and procedures within company safety guidelines.


Skills

  • Trouble-shoot low voltage systems utilizing wiring schematics, computer software, and diagnostic

equipment.

  • Trouble-shoot electrical to electronic interfaces
  • Running conduit, pull wire, and make electrical connections in a professional manner using wiring

diagrams and/or electrical schematics

  • Assembly duties as required
  • Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to immediate

Supervisor

  • Work with Engineering and Vendors on new wiring requirements for Prototype units and systems
  • Follow prescribed safety regulations / guidelines
  • Be able to work with Programmable Motion Control cards (PCM cards)
  • Perform other duties as required or directed
  • ECM programming
  • Work independently on wiring and programming engines and power pack systems

Occasional, Infrequent

  • Chase parts and fill in necessary paperwork
  • Document and diagram wiring when needed (example: Prototype units)
  • Train new hires
  • Return leftover parts back to Warehouse
  • Complete appropriate paperwork for rejected parts
