Job Description

SUMMARY

Transfer vehicles between check-in, service bay, and parking lot. Clean new and used vehicles.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Inspect vehicles to detect damage and verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Record the description of any damages to vehicles
  • Services vehicles in storage to protect tires, battery, and finish against deterioration
  • Clean new and used cars
  • Organize the lot as directed by the Sales and Service Managers

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

No prior experience or training.

Must be able to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Driver's License with CLEAN driving record

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stretch, kneel, stoop, crawl, climb, balance, twist, turn, handle, reach, lift and carry up to 40 lbs. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear.
