Los Feliz: Full-Time Playful Nanny

Family Syllabus: This sweet family of four in Los Feliz is looking for their very own rockstar full-time nanny! They have two darling children, a 2.5-year-old daughter who will attend school daily starting in September and a new baby who will be 4 months old at the start date! Their daughter loves to play outdoors, music, and dance. She enjoys swimming and ballet and has a sweet and sensitive personality. The parents work from inside the home and they also have one dog who will not require any care from the nanny. They believe in conscious parenting and a holistic lifestyle and would love a nanny who aligns with these beliefs. Their family also has a small friendly dog.

Ideal Candidate: This family’s ideal nanny is creative, fun, outgoing, and has a clear understanding of children’s milestones. Potty training will be on the agenda and if you have ideas, tips, and tricks this would be super helpful! Candidates who love to sing, have dance parties, and play outside or spend time gardening will fit in perfectly. Please be comfortable cooking healthy meals and has ideas for meal prep. Candidates with experience in Montessori philosophy and play-based learning are a must! A college degree is not required for this position. A clean, reliable vehicle to transport the children in the future will be required.

Job Synopsis: Spend your days playing pretend and fostering a love of play with these precious children! Please be a team player who helps with all light cleaning and washing pumping parts. When their daughter starts school in the fall, assisting with homework and learning will be required when she is home from school, but the majority of the care will be for the infant boy! Keeping the house tidy and cleaning up after the children, handling their laundry, meal prep, and toy organization will be part of your daily routine! The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8 am-5 pm. This role is paying $30-35/hour gross with overtime, paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and possible health insurance. Overnights are not required but optional travel for up to one week at a time is possible!

Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting a nanny who is COVID vaccinated and boosted, as well as the Tdap vaccine.

Roll Call: This wonderful position starts June 15th!

Qualifications:

Five years of professional nanny experience

CPR/first aid certification

Excellent references
