Long Term Sub - Science (Biology) Teacher

The Randolph High School is looking for a Long Term Substitute Biology Teacher from 04/24/23 through the end of the school year (June 15, 2023).The LTS teacher will facilitate student success in academic and interpersonal skills through academic courses of study and implement district approved curriculum, documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations and goals.The ideal candidate will: Collaborate with school personnel, parents and various community agencies for the purpose of improving the quality of student outcomes, developing solutions and planning curriculum.Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.Promote equity and appreciation of diversityMaintain classroom managementPromote high standards and expectations for student achievementPlan and deliver effective instructionExecute the subject matter knowledge requirements specific for Biology TeachersPerform other duties as deemed appropriate by the Building Principal and/or Curriculum Coordinator
