Position Summary: The Logistics Facilitator is responsible for providing shop floor and administrative support to the Logistics department.

Responsibilities:

• Support cycle counts, postings, and audits.
• Inherits responsibilities/tasks/role of supervisor during his/her absence.
• General projects as they relate/interface with other areas of the supply chain (i.e. customs, planning, etc.).
• Participate in continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts.
• Close supervision (daily) of work teams.
• Works cross functionally with all plant functions.
• Comply with all IATF policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required and assigned. This could include other departmental duties.
• Assists work teams in establishing lean manufacturing, 5S, and employee satisfaction.
• Support CKD/SKD, Service, Special builds, etc..
• Responsible for warehouse management as well as inbound and outbound shipping processes.
• Help support SAP system health. i.e, clear SAP errors, etc…
• Is willing and capable of working as a cross functional team member with multiple responsibilities.
• The general oversight of all logistics equipment.
• Verifies quality of work and documents adherence to standardized work.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic knowledge of transportation/freight management processes and procedures.
• Good Communication Skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
