Job Description
What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a deeply process oriented, experienced, and self-driven Logistics Analyst to support international and domestic distribution of energy distribution parts. You will work cross-functionally with global supply chain, warehousing, material planning, channel planning, service, finance, and production control to grow and manage Tesla's energy distribution network.
What You’ll Do
  • Pull data from internal database. Analyze, compile, and publish logistics dashboards and metrics for Tesla's logistics leadership.
  • Collaborate with industrial engineers, business intelligence team and system development team regularly to initiate logistics carrier API integration, and internal TMS and WMS improvements.
  • Work with supply chain leadership, logistics and business intelligence managers to establish strategic objectives and logistics road map for service, MRB and e-commerce.
  • Issue statistical or detailed reporting for stakeholders as requested including operation efficiency improvement, cost reduction and capacity planning.
  • Oversee the initial setup of high volume distribution locations, monitor booking and coordinate the most cost-effective and efficient means to import/export.
  • Develop global distribution strategy to support complex and high volume service supply chain.
  • Identify and define new process improvement opportunities.

What You’ll Bring
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to achieve success in situations with high degrees of variation and complexity
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or the equivalent of experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Demonstrated communication, leadership, and problem solving skills. Ability to write, speak, and present effectively and persuasively at all levels.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and/or evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Master's degree in industrial engineering or supply chain, preferred
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to code in SQL and Tableau and deep dive in data.
