Logistician, (Alc Bod) Jobs

Job Summary: Work within the USCG ALC BOD Logistics Branch to plan and support complex problem areas of projects including Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities, investigating or identifying business, scientific, technology, engineering, operational, professional and/or policy issues; conducting analysis of these issues; and providing advice in support of major programs/projects.

Education And Experience

• Or a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering or a related area
• High School Diploma with three (3) years' experience in logistics.

Essential Duties

• Perform and coordinate detailed analysis to ensure integration of support considerations into the planning and/or design process.
• Develop and ensure requirements and implementation strategies comply with logistics directives and supportability parameters.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate and estimate complex tasks associated with products or services, e.g., design, development, acquisition and maintenance, required to ensure that systems and equipment achieve the required readiness and sustainability posture at an affordable life cycle cost.
• Evaluate deliverables for technical adequacy and support development of logistics acquisition milestone requirements.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Three (3) years' experience in USCG procedures/applications to include; USCG Aeronautical practices, ACMS, ALMIS and AMMIS, highly desired.
• Statistical Analysis System (SAS) experience desired.
• Working knowledge in at least three (3) of the following disciplines; Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or Program Management.
• One (1) year of PTC Parts Software experience (or similar application).
