Lock Smith Jobs

We are looking for technicians with mechanically inclined backgrounds.
The Locksmith Intern applicants should want to learn how to perform locksmith duties including repairing and servicing residential and commercial lock hardware (automobiles are a plus). As well as operate all types of tools and equipment normally used in the locksmith trade including, key machines (automatic, semi-automatic, flat steel, 1200cm code machines, grinder machines), portable machinery (circular saw, jig saw, belt sander, orbital sander, router, lock mortise machine), powered bench and hand tools (such as drills, grinders, compressed air), as well as non-powered hand tools.
Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate necessary part orders to management
• Must be organized
• Mechanically inclined
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Must be able to read, write and understand English
• Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment to perform job functions
• Require manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment
• Must be willing to work as team member
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure
• Punctuality!
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts
• Exposed to hot and cold temperatures consistent with changing seasons
• Must be able to stoop, crouch, kneel and reach with hand and arms
• Must be able to push/ lift 50lbs or more
• Pay attention to the needs of customers and management

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge: 5 years
