Location:
Miami, FL (ADI) - Dry-ice logistics
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Class B Delivery Route Driver - Dry Ice
Location - Miramar, FL
Schedule - Monday - Friday (Occasional Saturdays)
Hours - 4:00 AM to 2:00 PM (or when deliveries are completed)
Rate of Pay - $22.00/hr OT after 40 hours
Stops per day - 10 to 15
Drivers Average 42 hours/week
Miles per week avg 350
Equipment - Class B Straight Truck
Eligible for Benefits day 31 of employment which include: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug, Life & Disability Insurance Benefits
Additional Details:
Drive Cam in trucks.
No electronics/Bluetooth allowed.
Zero tolerance for cell and electronic devices while driving an Airgas CMV.
Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet.
Most vehicles are under 6 years old and equipped with driver-friendly technology, such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, latest camera technology and GPS navigation.
  • Provide customer service and give feedback from customers to Branch Manager.
  • Obtain customer signature, ensure piece count matches load manifest, and collect empty dry ice boxes to be returned to the plant and/or branch.
  • Maintain accurate driving log information and data.
  • Perform pre and post trip inspections on truck according to DOT and company maintenance checklist. Keep inside of truck clean.
  • Comply with all company policies, safety policies and procedures, and DOT and
  • Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Drive truck to deliver dry ice to customer's place of business. Issue or obtain customer’s signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
OSHA requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate driver’s license and DOT Medical card.
  • Secure cargo prior to and during transit.

Are you a MATCH?
  • No suspensions of CDL in the last 3 years except for “Failure to pay child support”.
  • At least 21 yrs old
  • Confirmed experience driving in the military with a CDL will also count for the required experience.
  • No serious violation ticket (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc) in the last 3 years.
  • No preventable accidents of any kind in the last 3 years.
  • Have at least a Class B CDL with at least 1 yr experience – experience must be within the last 4 years
  • Graduated from an accredited truck driving school and have a diploma this will count as the 1 year of experience. (with in the last 4 years)
  • No DUI on the last 7 years.
  • No more than 2 minor tickets in the last 3 years.
  • A Class A CDL must have 1 yr experience and it should also be in the last 4 years.
