Loan Officer/Assistant Loan Officer
We are seeking an indiviadual who is highly motivated, skilled problem solver and talented communicator to join our organization. Position will be filled based on experience and qualifications. The primary work location will be Parsons and/or Elkins. We offer competitive compensation based on experience. Excellent benefit package includes: medical/vision/dental insurance, vacation and sick leave, pension and 401(k) plans..

Responsibilities
Duties:
-Evaluate loan applications and determine the eligibility of borrowers
- Collect and analyze financial information to assess the creditworthiness of applicants
- Review loan agreements and ensure compliance with lending policies and regulations
- Provide guidance and advice to borrowers regarding loan options, terms, and repayment plans
- Assist in the preparation of loan documents and coordinate with escrow agents, title companies, and other parties involved in the loan process
- Maintain accurate records of loan applications, approvals, and disbursements
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in lending practices[Be specific when describing each of the responsibilities. Use gender-neutral, inclusive language.]
Qualifications
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the banking or financial industry is preferred
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform calculations accurately
- Proficiency in using 10-key typing for data entry purposes
- Knowledge of escrow procedures and documentation is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
