Job Overview
An LMS (Learning Management System) administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and operation of an organization's online learning program ("Komatsu Academy").
Key Job Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the LMS users, including instructors, learners, and other stakeholders. Ensure that user accounts are created and maintained, and that users have the necessary permissions and access to the resources they need. Develop and maintain process to audit learners in the system, as related to security of use and roles and permissions
Responsible for collecting, organizing, and reporting on the data generated by the system. Provide insights into the performance metrics of the online learning program and help organizations make data-driven decisions. Work with Management on development of reporting tools and measurements to ensure visibility for internal and external participants in the LMS and their resulting achievements
Work with management to develop, then maintain the standard operating procedure (SOP)for system, including privileges, roles and allowances of users in the system. Maintain user and organization details in the LMS.
Oversee best practice, licensing & cost management for system tools and software. Responsible for overseeing software and system tools which includes evaluation and tracking
Track and Maintain vendor relationships (contracts, negotiations, SLA’s, projects). Vendor integration contracts and SOP’s related to system.
Qualifications/Requirements
Strong working knowledge of Excel, includes, but not limited to formulas, pivot tables and V/XLook up required.
Excellent communication and project management skills required.
Analytical skills including critical thinking required.
Aptitude to go from vision and translate to tangible results required.
Strong working knowledge of learning management systems, online learning programs preferred.
Experience in applying change management frameworks to a variety of projects preferred.
Proficiency in administration and creation of Microsoft Power App, BI and Project a plus .
Undergraduate degree, preferably with a focus in Business or related job experience a plus.
Must be able to travel when required.
