Limited Practice Radiographer Jobs

The Limited Practice Radiographer provides technical skill in radiology and fluoroscopy. Take radiographs of various anatomical regions of the body to assist physicians in detecting foreign bodies and diagnosing disease. Limitations Include: Chest (not to include breast), Abdomen (non-contrast procedures only), and Skeletal structures (to include upper and lower extremities, limited spine, skull and sinuses). Hospital patients served range in age from birth to death with the greatest population of patients falling in the 45 and older age group.
Qualifications: Must be working toward a degree in radiology at an A.M.A. accredited school. Limited Certification from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. CPR certification required or must complete within first 90 days and maintain thereafter. Must be in CE compliance to maintain required licensures.
