Light Industrial - Assembler

1st shift- 6AM-2PM -- 1 needed
2nd shift 2PM-10PM -- 1 needed

• Basic math skills and ability to use basic measurement equipment (ruler, scale, calipers, tape measure).
• Identify problems in the execution of standard work and request help from others on resolution.
• Test and calibrate simple assemblies according to specifications.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• For the month of March, they will have to work a mandatory 10hr a day Mon-Friday. If a person cannot commit to 10hr days, based on the reason, we can have them work Saturday to complete their mandatory 10hr overtime for the week.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Execute standard work efficiently on simple tasks with support from others on complex tasks.
• Basic computer literacy using Microsoft Windows.
• Operate and inspect all tools and equipment necessary to execute standard work.
• Execute standard work with support from others on complex tasks.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.
• Execute standard work with an acceptable degree of quality and limited quality discrepancies, showing a trend of improvement.
• Operate and inspect value stream workstation output.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 40 lbs.
• 6 months of assembly experience.
• Some duties require walking, standing, bending, or climbing for extended periods.
