Lifeguard - Whetstone Gulf State Park

Minimum age: 15 with preference given to applicants 18 years or older
Candidates must successfully complete the qualifying procedure and any other training programs sanctioned by the Agency. Please Note: Candidates may participate in the qualifying process without possessing certification; however, candidates that do possess current certifications will likely have an advantage in the process over those who do not due to familiarity with the subject matter.
After passing the qualifier, there may be courses to complete the necessary American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aide/CPR/AED/Waterfront Skills certifications if needed.
Candidates will also be required to have a physician complete a medical evaluation to ensure medical/physical standards for work as a Lifeguard are met.
All candidates are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
