Job Description

Position Details: Full time Monday - Friday

Chase Memorial Nursing Home & Rehab, a member of Good Shepherd Communities, a not-for-profit 80-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in New Berlin, NY is currently seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to join our leadership team. We are seeking a highly qualified LNHA with skilled nursing, rehabilitation and leadership experience to continue the growth, good reputation, outstanding quality and sense of family and community that Chase Memorial Nursing Home and Rehabilitation has enjoyed.

Chase Memorial Nursing Home & Rehab recently was awarded an $8 million dollar grant from the State of New York for the construction of new a facility. Be part of the design, planning, construction and opening of a new state-of-the-art facility. We plan to break ground in the Summer of 2024.


The LNHA has the responsibility and accountability for:

  • Planning, scheduling and staffing, coordinating, and delivering of all patient care services
  • Administration, management, supervision and coordination of all departments to ensure safe & quality care
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position
  • Identifies opportunities and addresses deficiencies
  • Monitor and maintain facility's compliance with all pertinent State and Federal regulations
  • Financial management and stewardship

Qualifications

Certifications and Licensures
  • Active New York NHA License
Education
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree

Experience

  • 3+ years as a LNHA in a long-term care facility
  • Previous relevant leadership experience including substantial and well-rounded knowledge of facility operations
