Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION


The Mend Counseling is in search of a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join a growing faith-based private practice serving the south suburbs of Denver. This individual will be available to see at least 15 clients per week. The ideal therapist can move to full-time status seeing 25-35 clients per week after the first year. The candidate must be motivated to develop and build a successful caseload. The therapist will network in the community, complete clinical paperwork, engage in peer supervision, demonstrate flexibility, and execute self-motivation.

Preferred experience working with women, teens, and families. The ideal candidate demonstrates a trauma-informed, body-centered, holistically approach to mental health. The ideal client is comfortable offering a faith-centered approach in counseling sessions as the client dictates.

BENEFITS: W2 position, continuing education credit, peer support, regular staff meetings, flexible schedule, administrative support, caseload of clients, and fun staff events. Full-time status employees will have the opportunity to access paid time off and health insurance.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful completion of master's or doctorate degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, professional counseling, or related degree. The candidate must be fully licensed in the state of Colorado. Unlicensed applicants will not be considered.

JOB TYPE: Employee position. Part-time for the first year while building a caseload. Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour with additional opportunities for extra pay.
