for Lease Operators for Jal, NM area

We have a Lease Operator job in Jal, NM area, with one of our established upstream clients. Would you happen to have experience working in production operations? Or have some exposure dealing with ESP’s and DeHy units? In this role, you would be responsible for monitoring and reporting on production and other pertinent well information and provide any maintenance on production equipment while working a 14/14 schedule with Living Quarters provided.

Pay for this role depends on experience within the range of $32 - $36.00/hr.

Compensation will also include Daily Per Diem, Company Truck, Reasonable Airfare, Cell Phone as well as Excellent Medical Benefits, matching 401K, dental and eye care, $50,000 Life insurance, Long-term and Short-term Disability. In addition, 3 sets of FRC’s along with various bonus opportunities based on production, safety, and additional operator referrals.

As the Lease Operator, your responsibilities include:

Gauge production on assigned wells and report gauge readings, downtime, and other pertinent well information to the district office.

Demonstrate proper procedure for putting station back online following shut in for high water content, high 02, etc.

Perform lease maintenance such as minor surface pump and production equipment repairs and adjustments; grease pumping units, service lease equipment, clean up trash etc.

Assist in witnessing meter calibrations; monitor rates and pressures on injection and disposal wells; make necessary adjustments; monitor chemical use; and test safety systems daily to maximize daily production.

Can perform start and stop procedures on compressors.

Comply with all clients, regulatory, environmental, and safety rules/standards, including company policies.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years Production Operator experience

Familiar with Stabilizers, Compressors, heater treater, rotoflex, seat & trim, and CPF’s (Central Production Facilities), DeHy Unit experience is highly preferred

SWD unit and VRU experience

Gas Lifts and High/Low Pressure Valves

Experience handling facilities that produce 3000+ barrels a day

Must be comfortable in an H2S environment.
