Lead Preschool Teacher Jobs

Summary

Park Place Children's Center is a high quality pre-school offering excellent care and education for infants through K4. We are looking for a K3 aLead Teacher to join our team! Candidates must be energetic, enthusiastic, responsible and love working with young children. The hours will be 7am-6pm four days a week.

Duties

Teachers at Park Place Children's Center are treated like professional educators. They have daily planning periods (away from the classroom), an hour lunch break each day, a classroom budget for needed items, opportunities to order art supplies each month, freedom and flexibility in planning their own lessons (but with plenty of support available from our Education & Training Coordinator and administrative staff) and 10 hours of free DSS training is provided on-site each year. We have a large teacher workroom includes four teacher computers, a laminator, Ellison die cut machine, copiers/scanner/FAX machine, resource books, etc. We also have a spacious break room.

Each classroom has a structured schedule with time for the children to go to the gym, library, Enrichment Room and playground each day. Our Spanish teacher comes to the classroom to provide a Spanish lesson each day, as well.

Requirements

Education in Early Childhood preferred; experience required.
