Lead Oracle Developer

12-month contract

M-F

$63-$66/hr based on benefits

Remote Opportunity

(Potential to travel to San Clemente, CA , 1-2 quarters)

DO YOU have functional working knowledge of Oracle application modules and developing PL/SQL programs, forms, reports, and workflow customizations?? IF YOU DO, then you are in luck since that is the main qualification for the remote LEAD ORACLE DEVELOPER!!

Orion Group is now seeking a Lead Oracle Developer to work a fully remote position for our intravenous medical manufacturing client located in San Clemente, CA.

To be successful as the Lead Oracle Developer you must coordinate with functional and business users for completing the development, manage the development team, and monitor the development effort in line with Project timelines.


Other Important Responsibilities include:


  • Work on the programming and development related tasks.
  • Work with BSA for UAT testing.
  • Perform unit testing on development work.
  • Work on special projects as they arise.
  • Partner with internal global users to learn their business, business processes, challenges, and objectives.
  • Work with PMO on deliverables and ensure they are delivered.
  • Write and socialize test plans, SIT test cases and UAT test cases related to supported development work.
  • Work on conversion on master entities and open transactions.
  • Write extract programs and conversion programs.
  • Perform unit testing playing transactions in EBS for testing solution.

To qualify for this position the Lead Oracle Developer must have 10+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, PLSQL, forms and report development, experience in EDI tools and mappings, and experience in Oracle Application version 12.X. The candidate chosen for this role must also have good working knowledge on EBS on playing transactions for testing and understanding on business process flows.

Other Qualifications Include:



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent from an accredited college or university
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
