Job Description
In this role, you will be a lead for our growing multimedia production team. You will be responsible for editing, organizing content, creating graphics, creating animations and producing videos for internal and external purposes. As a lead video editor, you will be applying artistic editing techniques and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflects the vision of the assignment. Also need to have a vivid imagination, artistic eye, and a creative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Editing all videos, audio, graphics, animations, and sometimes still images.
Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.
Collaborate with internal teams on content for National/Local TV, online ads, live events, and social media.
Assistance on special projects as needed including but not limited to supporting HR communications, publications, videos for live events and pick up shots for other videos that need a few shots replaced.
Procuring assets from archives or 3rd parties for use in video projects and presentations.
Using, tracking and maintaining production equipment via asset tracking system.
Creating and editing PowerPoint and other office documents.
Supporting multimedia needs for live event production.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, film studies, Marketing, cinematography, Media Arts or related discipline.
Experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
Minimum of 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Experience with livestreaming and video switching software and hardware (Tricaster/ATEM).
Experience editing for national/local TV and radio projects.
Strong knowledge with editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, and Adobe Premier and Adobe Creative Suite.
Proficient audio editing and mixing, with sound booth experience (Audition and/or Pro Tools).
Experience with Microsoft office products.
Discover and implement new techniques and methods to maximize the company's efficiency
Monitor all technical aspects of content, including color correction of footage, recording and editing, collaborating the stakeholder through the entire production process.
Strong project management skills with the ability to organize, assess risks, manage resources, and achieve milestones and deliverables, and the ability to work well under deadlines.
A portfolio that showcases a solid understanding of creative storytelling techniques and effective communication skills.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience using a content management system, and/or multimedia/digital signage programming software (e.g., Cnario Suite).
Experience with Sony and Canon pro video and photo cameras.
Working Conditions
This position includes limited travel to field locations and/or conferences and events.
Works primarily in an office environment. Will work hybrid, which may include indoor and outdoor venues, during many events.
Ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings when needed.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
