Job Description
The Hudson Valley Renegades are seeking individuals to fill multiple roles on the groundscrew to assist in the maintenance of the surrounding landscape for the 2023 season. This is a seasonal position working from February to October.
The Renegades groundscrew is responsible for the upkeep of the field for 66 Renegades home games, as well as various other non-baseball events.
Seasonal groundscrew landscaper employees will perform duties as assigned by the Head Groundskeeper and/or Assistant Groundskeeper. These duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Weeding
  • Occasional help with off-week projects and events (Sod repair, concerts, etc.)
  • Upkeep of the outskirts of the stadium
  • Mowing

Qualifications:
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Availability to work most, if not all, Renegade home games
  • Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions including rain, cold, and extreme heat
