Job Description
Assists skilled workers in accomplishing duties in the access control department. Keeps skilled workers supplied with tools and materials. Raises and moves heavy machinery and equipment, and works on ladders. Performs repairs under the supervision of skilled workers. Aids skilled workers in installing, repairing, adjusting, and maintaining door closures and lock hardware. Makes keys for door locks, vehicles, cabinets, lockers, desks, mailboxes, and padlocks. Assists skilled workers in installation of access control devices. Assists in maintaining tools and equipment in access control department. Assists skilled workers in recombinating locks and associated computer work. Performs related duties as assigned. Performs administrative assignments as needed

Required Education:NONE

Skills:

  • Ability to follow oral and written directions.
  • Some mechanical aptitude.

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Exposure to extreme temperature changes
  • Regular exposure to lifting up to 50 pounds
