We are currently recruiting Labourers to assist our Formwork Carpenters inKamloops, BC.This is an excellent way for the right candidate to start a career. Thesuccessful candidate could move into a carpentryapprentice role after several years of experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Cleanup and organization
• Degrease cranes and skips
• Assist tower crane and hoist technicians with any duties theyneedhelp with
• Perform maintenance
• Operate skid steer
• Unloading and loading materials
• Inventory counting and management

Working Conditions

• One paid 15 minutebreakand one½ hour unpaid lunch break per day
• Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:45 pm.
• Long term, steady, year-round work
• Combination of inside and outside work. Appropriate dress required.
• Overtime and work on weekends as required.

Requirements

• Steel toe boots required
• Exposure to cold/hot weather. Appropriate dress required for weather conditions.
• Manual dexterity
• WHMIS 2015 required (we can provide)
• Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time
• Reliable transportation
• Exposure to hazards such as heights, power tools, slips, falls, falling objects, sharp hand tools
• Ability to lift between 11 and 25 kg.
• Exposure to noise, dust, pollution
