Laborers The Borough of Penns Grove is currently hiring laborers for an entry-level position available in Public Works, Recreation and Parks. Must have the ability to safely and efficiently, operate power equipment, hand tools and vehicles under varying weather conditions, in a variety of work environments. The position is subject to 24-hour emergency recall as needed, often requiring participation in the performance of construction, repair, and cleaning. Experience and knowledge of the technical aspects of Recs, Parks and Roads, snow removal including plowing, shoveling and the application of ice control materials, apply safe work policies and practices, building custodian duties, reading diagram layouts to mark sports field, general landscaping, grass maintenance and leaf removal, and trash collection is desired. Applicant must possess a valid New Jersey Class B Commercial Driver's License and prior athletic field maintenance. Deadline for applying is July 21, 2023.
