Bunge’s Danville corn milling plant is adding an additional shift/crew for their growing operations. Loader/Unloader is responsible for the safe operation of the packing and loading department. The role will work 12-hour shifts under a 2, 2, 3 pattern. This position can be assigned to 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift while on 8-hour shifts. When sufficiently staffed, 12-hour shifts will be implemented, and employees can preference their shift by seniority.
The hourly rate of pay starts at $24.55, with additional $.60 shift differential for second, third shift or the twelve hour back shift. Overtime is required.

Job description:
Load and unload bulk and bag products with a focus on safety, quality and production. Work in a team atmosphere to ensure orders are shipped to customers.
Job duties:
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Load and unload cars and trucks with designated products.
- Keep inventory of bags being loaded and keep accurate records.
- Perform minor repair work as required for efficient loading operations.
- Inspect product for quality and report any irregularities.
- Clean and prepare cars for loading and unloading of Corn Operations products.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
Skills/requirements:
- Understanding the operations of the packing and loading department.
- Knowledge of basic math.
- Be able to work effectively with others in a team environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Oral and written communication skills.
