Minimum Qualifications
Experience working in a laboratory setting. Understanding of the ecology in Lake Ecosystems.

Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of lake ecology and phytoplankton dynamics typically obtained in taking a Lake Ecology or Limnology course. Experience working with data in Excel and/or R.

Position Purpose
Assist with field and laboratory experiments.

Job Duties
Perform cyanobacteria laboratory experiments and assist with lake and stream field sampling. Ability to learn analytical techniques and instruments including but not limited to filtering water, analyzing particulate and dissolved nutrients.
