Job Description
Monitor health and well-being of dog/cats. Immediately report any health or medical issues to Supervisor. Cleans kennels, feeds, grooms, exercises, and administers medication to dogs/cats.


Completes medical documentation as directed.


MUST possess good verbal and written communication skills.


MUST have a genuine interest in and concern for the overall well-being of animals and demonstrate empathy and compassion for Shelter animals.


Ability to recognize signs/symptoms of disease and to handle dangerous and/or injured animals with a minimum of personal risk.


Ability to remain calm and effective is stressful situations.


Able to lift 40 pounds or more.


Other duties as assigned.
