We are looking for a new part-time Kennel Assistant to support our Yakima Hospital!

Who you are:
If you are dedicated to providing exceptional service to patients and colleagues and are looking for the next step in your Veterinary Hospital career we want to meet you.
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
  • Assist with replenishing supplies in all areas of hospital as assigned
  • Assist with cleaning of hospital and grounds as assigned
  • Provide veterinary husbandry (e.g. bedding, cage turnover, food/water, litter, laundry, dishes)
  • Support our patient care team in a dynamic environment
Basic required qualifications:
  • Reliable time management and problem-solving skills; working efficiently and effectively throughout the hospital
  • Able to work well independently as well as with a team
  • Multi-task various duties and responsibilities in a timely and reliable manner, with appropriate follow-through and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma
  • Understand and follow established hospital processes and procedures (i.e. SOPs)
  • Calm, professional demeanor
Work schedule:
  • Weekend Availability and Some Holidays Required
  • Part-time, potential to grow into full time
PayRange:
$15.75-17.00 / hour

Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
