Job Overview
DiD is growing! We're looking for an Junior Writer with agency experience to join our team! In this role, you will collaborate closely with our larger creative team to develop high-quality written materials that effectively communicate our clients' messages.
Responsibilities:
  • Continues to develop creative writing skills including concept development, content outlines, long-form, short-form, and scripts
  • Partners with the creative vertical team to contribute internally
  • Understands and has the ability to follow creative briefs; may participate in development of creative briefs with team/manager support
  • Supports creative team by assisting with internal and client edits/revisions in both the copy and design phase
  • Writes with oversight; begins working with Art partners to understand the visual side of creative
  • Develops and builds skills to become proficient at copy editing and proofreading
  • Gains understanding of AMA guidelines and construction of claims
  • Reviews documents for accuracy, style consistency, punctuation, footnotes, annotations, and references
  • Frequently communicates status updates to ensure timely delivery of work to surprise and excite clients

Qualifications:
  • Strong ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently
  • Beginner experience working in an agency in a creative copy position highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience within pharmaceutical and/or healthcare environment preferred
  • Demonstrated initiative as a self-starter
  • Exceptional portfolio, containing original concepts that are fully executed
  • Demonstrated creative copy skills
