Junior Web Developer


We have a newly created position for an energetic Junior Web Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in Web Development while working on diverse projects.


If you are enthusiastic about Web Development, have an eye for design and excited by the chance to expand your skills, this is the position for you.Our ideal candidate will take pride in developing quality digital experiences, embrace cutting-edge tools/ technologies and will be eager to learn how to leverage AI and other innovations.


Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot issues with existing websites and provide solutions
  • Create responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility
  • Develop and maintain websites primarily built with WordPress
  • Contribute ideas for website optimizations and new features
  • Assist in testing websites and identifying issues before launch
  • Adhere to web development best practices and standards
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging web technologies and trends
  • Work with team members to conceive and implement web design solutions


Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Knowledge of user experience and interface design
  • Understanding of web hosting, domain names, and databases
  • Passion for learning and adopting new technologies and techniques
  • Ability to take initiative, be creative, and come up with solutions
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Familiarity with responsive design for mobile devices
  • Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency with WordPress theme development
  • Relocation assistance is not available
  • 2 years of working experience in Web Development required


Advanced Skills Preferred:

  • Adobe Photoshop experience
  • Experience building custom WordPress plugins, themes and functions
  • Experience with GIT version control
  • Knowledge of jQuery, AJAX, JSON
