Junior Systems Engineer Jobs

The Junior Systems Engineer, reports to the IS&T Engineering Manager. This role will maintain and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

OTHER

• Completes all assigned AP training (such as CPR, OSHA, HIPAA, Compliance, Information Secruity, others) within designated timeframes.
• Models the AP Code of Conduct and demonstrates a commitment to the AP Compliance Program, standards and policies.
• Complies with Allergy Partners and respective hub/department policies and reports indcidents of policy violations to a Supervisor/Manager/Director, Department of Compliance & Privacy or via the AP EthicsPoint hotline.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory duties.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
• No or very limited physical effort required.
• No or very limited exposure to physical risk.

QUALIFICIATIONS

• Experience with Citrix Cloud.
• Experience with monitoring systems (LogicMonitor, SentryOne).
• General networking knowledge.
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Nutanix).
• Experience with automation using PowerShell.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Azure Cloud management experience.
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows Server 2012 R2-2022 based environments.
