Junior Oracle Dba Jobs

ASRC Federal s actively seeking a Junior Oracle Database Administrator to join our growing team and support our federal custome in the DMV area.
Position: Junior DBA
Clearance: Active Secret clearance /eligible
Responsibilities:

• Support Data-at-Rest encryption (TDE)
• Database administration on Oracle servers
• Configure, maintain, and support databases in an enterprise operations environment per application instructions or requirements
• Develop database queries and apply patches in test and patch environment
• Support Oracle Golden Gate and Dataguard
• Analyze and define database and security requirements
• Coordinate with Testers and Test Leads for backup, rollback and recovery plans
• Install database scripts and software applications on both database and web application servers
• Interface with the production support team and software developers to resolve daily database issues
• Troubleshoot issues stemming from a wide range of errors including problematic database scripts, IIS configuration, Windows application errors, etc.

Requirements:

• Experience with Linux and Windows Server
• A mininum of 1-2 years of experience
• Experience with Data Guard and standby server operation
• Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a Government Clearance.
• Experience working with and supporting Agile processing
• Experience in Oracle 11, Oracle 12 and Oracle 19C
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas verbally and in a written format

Desired:

• Experience analyzing requirements
• Experience with Oracle Golden Gate
• Experience with Exadata and ZDLRA is a plus
• Experience performing code reviews

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or similar discipline.
