Junior Greenhouse Manager Jobs

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Junior Hydroponic Greenhouse Farm Manager to oversee our operation in Jamestown, North Dakota. The Farm Manager will be responsible for the daily management and efficient operation of our hydroponic greenhouse farm.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the overall management of the farm operations, including planting, nurturing, harvesting, and packaging.
• Developing and implementing farm management plans, schedules, and procedures.
• Monitoring crop development and the removal of substandard plants to maintain quality standards.
• Ensuring the proper functioning of the hydroponic systems, including regular maintenance and repair.
• Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Analyzing and reporting on crop yields and financial performance of the farm.
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
• Managing staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and handling personnel-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of hydroponic systems and farming practices.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations pertaining to farming.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent leadership and personnel management skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in farm management, preferably in a hydroponic greenhouse setting.
• Proficiency with technology, including agricultural software applications.
