The following is a description of a Junior Graphic Designer in our regional Marketing department.

Our Junior Designers partner with Graphic Designers and other Marketing professionals to design and produce a wide range of projects within a firmwide team of over 60 Graphic Designers. • Partner with engineers, project managers, and technical staff
• Serve as a brand advocate for Kimley-Horn and our clients’ visual guidelines
• Create tailored print and digital brochures as well as conference/event graphics
• Design digital campaigns for external recognition/pursuits
• Thrive as part of a large, creative, and specialized marketing team
• Develop graphic covers, templates, layouts, and supporting graphics for marketing pursuits
• Create presentations, aerial map exhibits, and multimedia graphics

• Ability to use InDesign software for layout of complex documents
• 0-4 years of experience
• BA/BS in Graphic Design or similar
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A positive, solution-seeking attitude and a high sense of personal responsibility
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while providing consistent quality and accuracy
• Proficiency in Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office Suite (Kimley-Horn is a PC-based company)
• Flexibility to periodically work outside normal business hours and occasionally travel, as required
