Principal Duties And Responsibilities

The purpose of the Junior Software Engineer at Rev.io is to contribute to our core business automation software platform through technical solutions, learning, and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have some experience with relevant technology and show enthusiasm for continuous growth and learning, in alignment with Rev.io's Mission & Values.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Communicating well with teammates, peers, and managers, asking for help when needed.
• Troubleshooting product defects.
• Understanding of the product they work on and how it fits into the vision of the company.
• Working closely with team members and mentors to implement technical solutions and receive feedback.
• Participating in planning sessions for their team.
• Contributing to projects while dedicating time to learning and developing new skills.
• Building strong working relationships with colleagues.
• Analyzing and implementing technical solutions in an efficient manner, usually with assistance from others.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Introductory knowledge of JSON, RESTful Web Services, and Microservices.
• Ability to work closely with other team members and mentors.
• Good communication skills, both in writing and verbally.
• 1 year of .NET application development experience required including use of .NET Core.
• Understanding of the company's vision and how their work aligns with it.
• Introductory knowledge of C#.
• Familiarity with GIT (branching and merging).
• Exposure to developing Web Apps and Services on Azure.
• Eagerness to learn and pick up new ideas, patterns, and technologies quickly.
• Comfortable working within a team environment.
