Who You Are:

The Junior Architect is responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of solutions. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Subscriber Management (SM-DP+/SR) integration and understanding of SIM. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of network functions on 4G and 5G and be well versed in current trends in the wireless industry.

At the Analyst-Level, you will be expected to contribute to the development of recommendations, business knowledge and technology awareness, provide meaningful input into client deliverables/proposals, and take ownership of assigned tasks. You will conduct research, collect data, and perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to support business solutions. Most importantly, you will embrace our firm’s brand and core values.

Role and Responsibilities:

You may work on various projects throughout you career with Excelacom. The roles and responsibilities noted below pertain to the specific role listed above.

• You will have specific business development targets
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions meet the needs of the business.
• In addition to delivering at the client site, you will occasionally be tasked in productizing Excelacom’s work, contributing to our Center of Excellence and intermittently working on Excelacom proposals to the client.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions.
• Use and integrate Subscriber Management (SM-DP+/SR) with provisioning layers
• Stay up to date on the latest technologies and trends in the wireless industry. Propose solutions and proof of concept cases based on this.
• Participate in Multi-IMSI/Operator provisioning strategy, definition, and execution.
• Support mobile strategy to assess the feasibility of new business opportunities such as home automation.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years’ experience in telecom/mobile systems architecture
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to Design and Architect API for Integration Components
• Excellent technical and analytical skills
• Passion & understanding of wireless technologies (e.g. 5G Architecture, Private LTE, CBRS, Virtualized Networks), End-to-End Wireless Ecosystem (Devices, RAN, Backhaul, Mobile Core, OSS/BSS and Customer Experience) and relevant vendors and OEMs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Must be onsite at the office
• Success on delivering projects for communication providers
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, business process re-engineering and/or project management required
• Knowledge of OSS/BSS implementation for Mobile/MVNO.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to provide stakeholder engagement among the Business, Technology and Development teams
• Knowledge in System Integration for Mobile Wireless Platforms.
• Experience in Tools & formats - AWS, Kafka, MQ, Swagger, Postman, JSON, XML – Schema Definitions, validations etc.
• Experience in software engineering/enterprise architecture/technology leadership across multiple products, systems and/or platforms coupled with strong business acumen and executive presence.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experienced at using and integrating SM-DP+ with provisioning layers
• Must be a self-starter and able to learn quickly
• Integration, automation, and monitoring experience with: SM-DP+, SIM-OTA, OMA-DM, UDM/UDR/AUSF/AMF, HLR/HSS, AAA & Diameter
• Familiar with the eSIM industry

Compensation and Benefits:

For individuals assigned to work in Colorado, Excelacom is required to include a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role. However, final salaries will vary based on several factors, such as candidate’s level, qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. An individual may be hired at the Analyst, Consultant, or Manager level for this role with each level requiring an increasing set of responsibilities. For regular full-time employees, the estimated salary range is from $80,000 to $100,000/yr.
