Journeyman Residential Electrician Jobs

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Residential Electrician to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar electrical systems and battery storage in residential buildings to ensure that they operate safely, efficiently, and effectively.

Duties:

• Conduct routine maintenance, repair or replacement of solar electrical components or systems
• Ensure electrical safety standards are met following an inspection
• Understand all aspects of and become proficient in solar, storage, energy management, and developing technologies, including Storage Systems such as Tesla, Generac, Enphase, etc.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems in residence homes
• Assemble, install, test and maintain Electrical wiring and equipment
• Manage all job closeout procedures to include inspections, job write-ups, and returns of unused job materials.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as contractors and builders
• Assess electrical systems and suggest/implement necessary upgrades or modifications
• Oversee and mentor Apprentices
• Follow electrical code, state and local building regulations ensuring electrical work is compliant
• Ensure safety of workplace, workspace, vehicles, equipment, etc.
• Be available and portable for various jobs in various areas

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Professionalism is expected at all times, both on the job site and in the office
• Posess a current WI Electrician License Certification
• Verbal, written, analytical, organizational & interpersonal skills w/ strong customer service.
• 1-year experience working as a Residential Electrician
• Computer proficiency and basic Microsoft Office Skills required.
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Experience working in a team environment
