Job Cost Analyst

Mungo Homes is seeking a Job Cost Accountant to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team in the Irmo, SC office!

The Job Cost Analyst will provide support in developing and continually improving management and coordination of job cost activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (performs other duties as assigned)

• Provide accurate up-to-date standard costing

• Ensure costing correlates to the appropriate Bill of Materials

• Review financial data in order to collaborate with Production, Engineering, Sales and Purchasing to understand cost drivers and to identify cost reduction opportunities

• Preparation of production cost center planning and activity rates used in standard costing

• Provide monthly costs and variance forecast

• Provide routine reporting to production management for certain data and KPIs

• Provide detailed analysis of labor and utilities

• Assures internal controls are in place

• Manage cost center assessments and allocation

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

KOVA software preferred
