Role Description & Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing APIs.
  • Designing user interactions on web pages.
  • Use design and coding best practices for delivery.
  • Developing back-end website applications.
  • Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
  • Developing front end website architecture.
  • Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
  • Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
  • Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
  • Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
  • Creating servers and databases for functionality.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualities

  • Experience in writing unit and integration test cases.
  • Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code, Automation, and Orchestration.
  • Good understanding and technical expertise in Microservices, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and programming concepts.
  • Experience building REST based web services & web applications using Java and Spring Framework.
  • Building Microservices that connect to MySQL, MongoDB and Kafka
  • Experience with cloud platforms (For example, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) and building automation around their APIs.
  • Experience with a modern front end SPA framework like Angular, ReactJS
  • Experience with writing asynchronous workflows and familiarity with BPMN frameworks is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure, ensuring high-availability, scaling, service discovery, logging, monitoring and alerting.
  • 4-6 years of work experience and a bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSS.
