Job Description

We are looking for a JAVA Developer with experience in trading platforms. This is an onsite role in North Brunswick, NJ.


Looking for minimum of 8+ years of solid development experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Integrate with various financial exchanges, market data providers, and clearinghouses to ensure seamless connectivity and data flow.
  • Implement trading algorithms, order management systems, and execution engines to support trading activities.
  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable trading platform components using Java and related technologies.
  • Optimize and tune trading systems for low-latency and high-throughput performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with other developers to enhance system architecture, design patterns, and coding standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in trading technologies and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.


Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Extensive experience as a Java Developer with a focus on trading platform development.
  • Familiarity with market data feeds, order routing, and execution management systems.
  • Experience with real-time data processing, message-oriented middleware, and event-driven architectures.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, trading concepts, and related protocols (FIX, FAST, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Java programming language and associated frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
