Job Overview

We are seeking to add a Java Application Support Engineer to our growing team!

How You Will Make An Impact

• Skilled in navigating monitoring dashboards to identify possible issues.
• Manage work using Jira Service Desk tickets.
• Comfortable navigating Windows and Linux server operating systems, including restarting servers, services, or applications.
• Capable of upgrading software following vendor-provided instructions.
• Review and update relevant documentation using Confluence.
• Proficient in CI/CD using GitHub.
• Handle report issues with custom applications and collaborate with end-users to resolve them or escalate to the Development Team.
• Provide support for custom web applications, IT tools, future cloud applications, and Google Pub/Sub.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficient in Java Programming and frameworks
• Availability to work onsite from 8 am to 5 pm PST, Monday to Friday.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset to prevent and address problems.
• Understanding of business functions related to the application.
• 5-7 years of application support experience.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical staff across all organizational levels.
• Quick and efficient learner with the ability to adapt to new content areas and skills.
• Strong focus on customer service and support.
• Experience in: GCP knowledge (Pub/Sub, CI/CD, GitHub), Ticketing Tool
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple tasks and demands.

Compensation; The estimated pay range for this position is USD $83,200 - $91,520/Yr. and is an Exempt role.

Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
