Job Description
Job Summary:
Associate is responsible for the cleaning and building maintenance. Duties include cleaning all areas of the warehouse including offices, break rooms, restrooms, floors and other locations throughout the warehouse.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Mix water and detergents or chemicals in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
  • Gather and empty trash.
  • Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience:
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Cleaning experience is preferred, but not required: 1 year
Typical Working Conditions:
Associate will work around equipment, such as conveyors, which could contain hazards. Other exposures found in a distribution center such as high level of noise and dust may exist for this position.
Pay Range:
$12.96 USD - $19.44 USD per hour
Incentive Potential:
This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
