Position Details

Locus is looking for a solid mid-level software product developer with experience in J2EE-based software product development. You will be involved in building innovative and state-of-the-art SaaS business applications and services.

You will be responsible for developing J2EE services and applications that support business transactions, reporting, and analytics for millions to billions of records. You will be developing solutions for our well-established environmental management application and our new platform for defining and rendering business applications in real-time.

You must excel at both working independently and work in a group setting. This is an opportunity to build a world-class commercial, cross-enterprise environmental web application that offers unprecedented performance and ease-of-use in an emerging business area of environmental information management. You must be passionate about programming!

Locus Technologies is an established firm, is profitable, and has an experienced management team in place.

Must have working experience with the following technologies:

• MVC architecture like Spring
• J2EE application servers
• Hibernate and/or JDBC
• REST
• Windows
• T-SQL
• Apache Tomcat and Maven
• JQuery and JavaScript

SALARY RANGE:
$30,000 to $500,000

Experience

At least 5-10 years of professional software product development experience

Education

B.S. in Computer Science
