Kenworth Truck Company is the manufacturer of The World’s Best® heavy and medium duty trucks. Kenworth is an industry leader in providing fuel-saving technology solutions that help increase fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. The company’s dedication to the green fleet includes aerodynamic trucks, compressed and liquefied natural gas trucks, and medium duty diesel-electric hybrids.

Requisition Summary

Kenworth division is looking for an IT Intern to help support writing and deploying applications.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Work with other developers to create applications for the business.
• Create user stories and track progress on agile team boards
• Work with the business to support application issues

Qualifications

The candidate we seek will be currently enrolled in an Information Systems, Computer Science or related Program and have completed at least their Sophomore year of College. This will be a temporary Internship opportunity.

The skills that are important to be successful in this position are as follows:

• Able to twrk in a team environment with 10+ technicians
• Competency with Apple products such as iPhone or iPad
• Basic understanding of version control
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic understanding of C#

Education

Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field.

Additional Job Board Information

At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. The hourly rates for Interns are $25 per hour for undergraduates and $30 per hour for graduates. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
